Child's age

Red Ball
(Ages 5–8)

Kids aged 5-8 years start to practise overarm serves, volleys and learn how to rally, whilst developing their coordination, balance, speed and agility. Still, with soft balls and small courts, they'll be introduced to relaxed competition too.

Orange Ball
(Ages 8–9)

Kids aged 8-9 years are converted into more than just one-shot wonders. Time to throw in some tactics, problem-solving and guides to sportsmanship and leadership. They'll know all of the rules and will be serving and returning.

Yellow Ball
(Ages 10–16)

For kids aged 10-16 years, it’s all about playing on a full-size court with the same size balls the pros use. Kids will continue to explore different styles on court and start to choose their own. By this point, we hope kids will be tennis players and fans of the game for life!

How To Find Us

Coming from Northwood you travel downhill (northbound) along the A4125 (Watford Road / Sandy Lane) and then turn left immediately as you go past the Esso Garage and into Sandy Lane.

You will see the School entrance 350 yards on your right-hand side. If you find that the main gate is closed, the grey keypad is a 4-digit code (you will need to contact us for this).

Once you have entered the school grounds follow the road always heading right and passing all the school buildings which should be on your left hand side.

After 1-2 minutes you will arrive at a carpark in the north area of the school, the courts are located behind the clubhouse building – up a few steps.
